I found that one first here on SD but we don't have a phone to trade in to get that kind of discount, seems like you needed an already expensive late model phone to max out for that trade-in. This seems the best price I found so far for people without fancier phones to trade in and still wanna buy this phone... Looks like Amazon gives you money for trade-ins too, interested to see what others say about it. Thanks!

The trick to this kind of deals is to buy the cheapest option possible on ebay,craiglist,fb marketplace or Amazon, and THEN go for the trade in. So for example at the moment the deal was going on I didnt have that kind of phone, so en ebay bought a a good condition s21 for 270 tax and ship included. Went to bestbuy and trade it for a s22 plus 128gb, went back to my house with a brand new phone + $37 bestbuy gift card. So at the end my final cost was $233

How long is the BB trade-in deal going for, to have enough time for this clever workaround?

Edit: Read some of the end of that thread, looks like the deal is over. Huh. Thanks anyway! It appears this Amazon deal might be the best current one for this phone... and with Amazon doing trade-ins with it too? Could be other retailers will follow suit on this price soon maybe as well?

Yeah it's in store only and the trade in promo the rep at my local bestbuy said it's valid until december 11, if you plan to go that route check out the latest trade-in values https://www.bestbuy.com/site/clp-...1537879921 because this week the s21's went down one tier.

I was told Dec 11th was the last day for the trade in and others have gotten the same response, but still ymmv because they can take it down any time. The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G is around $290-300 on ebay with a $800 trade in value

at least till dec 11. seems like the prices went back up to retail price as of now. anybody's guess if they bring sale prices back.

these are selling new for 550 or change on swappa as well so in case one has to go spend 699, swappa can be an option as well.
