You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Source: I traded in my Pixel 6 for a Pixel 7 a month ago at Best Buy.

Please check again. These are the old trade-in values. They are now offering $460 for the iPhone XR.

It seems bb does not have ANY trade in value for pixel 7 or above currently not even for a bb gc so shall I still pickup the pixel 7 and trade away my xr? Once its traded its gone so no more future trade ins 😨

I also have a s21 though lol

Yes. Do the trade in in-person. According to many posts they won't check.

I might do the same and wait for BF. Maybe a better 7 Pro or an iPhone 14 pro deal.

I purchased it with an iPhone XR trade-in and chose pickup. It took them a while to complete the transaction. But I received a PayPal email on $460 (actually $490.48, maybe with tax) refund on my way out.
Def. one of the quickest trade-in experiences.
