I did chat and eventually they scheduled a callback but that wasn't helpful either. Without an order ID, they have no way to find your order. I even gave them the transaction ID, invoice ID, email address - all useless.
In the end I filed a dispute and bought another. That next purchase (on different CC) worked fine .. time to wait.

Experts, I am not looking for any debate on android vs iphone here :-)
I have the P7 and love it. I got hotspot DL speeds on Visible of 40mbps. And speedtest on my phone of 160mbps.
As for Android vs iOS, a lot has to do with how heavily you're in that universe. I like the Android apps for my needs. And the camera is flagship. I guess if you're in the iOS universe and own a lot of paid apps, you'd be hesitant to switch. My mom recently switched to Android. She's not into paid apps and the ones she uses are available on both platforms.

I ordered one a couple weeks ago and it was unlocked and in excellent condition, plus shipping was free and very fast.
If iPhone XS trade-in value is still $465, you would be getting the Pixel 7 for right around $270 total, assuming 10% tax:
($209+tax) + ($35+tax) = ($244+tax) = $268
With Visible, you do need to sign up for a number, but from my experience, they don't charge you for the line if you never activate it. You could also use a referral code to bring the first month cost down to $10, just in case they did start charging for the first month.
If you want to call it a loophole or even taking advantage, then that's probably true. But fraud? No. You've been watching too many TV shows.
