Experts, I am not looking for any debate on android vs iphone here :-)
I don't know much about fruit phones, so bear with me.*
*For Pixel users, who want to upgrade, the BB trade-in at store makes it difficult to use the copy over feature from phone to phone.
Make the online BB purchase for pickup with trade-in. Mine was to p/u on 11/25, so there was plenty of time.
Then buy the secondhand iPhone 12 or 13 Pro Max as the 'upgrade' first.
Then transfer all your data to it from the XR
Wipe the XR.
Then trade in the XR for the P7 for $39. Definitely get the UNLOCKED P7. Definitely get the SNOW or LEMONGRASS if available. I think they show less scratches, so people like them vs. black.
Then sell the P7 on Swappa for $300-$450 (not sure if you'll get $450 though; gonna be a lot of new P7 on the shelf).
I did chat and eventually they scheduled a callback but that wasn't helpful either. Without an order ID, they have no way to find your order. I even gave them the transaction ID, invoice ID, email address - all useless.
In the end I filed a dispute and bought another. That next purchase (on different CC) worked fine .. time to wait.
