I found out the hard way while returning a phone which didn't have software support I needed.
I paid the restocking fee, and closed my BestBuy account. I'll be shopping with Amazon/CostCo instead.

On the bb site it shows you can trade in a broken XR that doesn't turn on for $350 but in store eval does not give that option. If they mark it as doesn't turn on, the value goes to zero.

Mine is a pristine XR (not even a scratch front or back as it was in a protective case) but, somehow, it doesn't turn on even after hours on a good charger. Not sure what happened. I was using it, moved to new phone, left it in a drawer for a few years then pulled it out for this trade in.

2. If No, then can I use $35 plan on a different phone or sell it on Ebay or any marketplace?
