I might try to fix the screen and try the trade in again...
I have no idea whether you can convince them of that, but that is the official Best Buy policy. You could possibly ask for manager or go to a different store in your area. You could also try calling 1-888-BEST BUY from the store and see if they are any help. (Doubtful, but a suggestion) Your store is refusing to honor the terms of the corporate promotion.
Use the trade in link on the Pixel 7 Best Buy product page and enter in your info. You will see it says $350 for a broken one. Print this out for them. See attached for example.
Also FYI: There might be only 1 person in the phone department that knows the full details of this promotion and knows how to ring it up. If one says no, linger around and ask another employee.
