You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Source: I traded in my Pixel 6 for a Pixel 7 a month ago at Best Buy.

I already traded in iPhone XR for the Pixel 7 and it's a fantastic phone. I ordered a Straight Talk iPhone XR. Even if it doesn't get here in time for Best Buy trade in, I'll hold on to the XR and wait for Christmas sale which hopefully will have similar trade in value!

I think the iphone 11 is a better deal for $199. I don't need to by a month of service if I get it at Walmart. Tracfone will just rebrand the phone and put it on my account.

Activate for a month then wait for a second month with no plan. Should unlock. Done it twice with success.

If you are really cheap buy two pack of flip phones from hsn for $30. Get 20k points and buy the iPhone 11 from TracFone for $30. Total $60 and a couple of years of service.

If Tracfone has the same 60 day unlock policy, call them and have them rebrand a ST or TW phone for Tracfone MVNO. They have a $15/month plan.

guys.. if you like iOS you should do this deal, then later trade in the pixel 7 for a newer iphone with higher trade in value compare to XR, i am waiting for a ip14 trade in deal from costco or tmobile that give 300-400 for PIXEL trade in value lol
