Without the $350 current promotional value the iPhone 11 trade in value would have just been $175
I believe on online trade ins, you pay sales tax on the full $500. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Bought them for $200 + tax per iPhone 11, and then for the Pixel 7, $500 - $350 coupon - $175 GC + tax on $150 = ~$10 GC refund.
After I had that locked in I ordered a Straight Talk iPhone 11 from Walmart for in store pickup. 2 locations showed stock but were clueless when I showed up to pick up and couldn't find any. I was lucky at a 3rd location they had several sitting up behind the register. Cost with tax was $212.
Showed up at Best Buy to pick up my In Store pickup and process my trade but when they got to the value hit a road block as it was more than the Pixel 7 128GB cost before tax. They advised me to leave the store and wait 20 minutes or so and cancel my online order when it allows me to then come back and they can start a new trade in and get it figured out which worked just fine. Ended up with a $12 and some change gift card back. Less than $200 if you consider the gift card balance, great deal!

When she asked what carrier it was I just said "Straight Talk, which is Verizon". She put it in, no additional questions asked about the phone. She verified it wasn't icloud locked and I was on my way. Lucky I got there when I did (~7pm). I got the last 7 and there was only one more 7 pro left.
