You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Source: I traded in my Pixel 6 for a Pixel 7 a month ago at Best Buy.

Traded two ST iPhone XR today at Bay Area, CA location at the same transaction. Preordered online for pickup. In and out in 10 mins. No issues at all and online purchase history reflects the final balance.

I thought you had 15 days from the when you ordered the phone and locked in the trade in value. Five days to pick up the phone, but you can call for an extension

On the order summary page it states: "Your estimated trade-in value is valid for 15 days. "

Where do you see carrier info? i just see Carrier lock where it shows sim locked

You won't unless you set it up or insert simcard I guess that's why mine keeps bugging me to finish setting up cellular LOL That's why you shouldn't like others been saying to better safe than getting refused like some have already posted cuz that's what they must've done.

Walked into BB with my iphone 11, Asked for P7Pro and I told them i wan to trade my iphon11. Reset the iphone, answered few questions and the transaction all done in 20min. BB employee needs to asked his coworker for a lil help doing the transaction on their system.

Very happy with the process!

I would assume as long as your order is in before it ends you're good. All the BestBuy rep is doing is processing a trade in which it will automatically reflects on the final balance. You will have already locked in at the current price by buying now.
