You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Source: I traded in my Pixel 6 for a Pixel 7 a month ago at Best Buy.

I bought the iphone 11 online at Walmart and had it delivered. Was going to trade it today but I just looked IMEI checker and am wondering if Walmart screwed up by not scanning it or something before delivering. This is what it lists:

Loaner Device: No
Replaced Device: No
Valid Purchase Date: No
Activation Status: Not Activated
Registration Status: Not Registered

Is that how it shows up for everyone? Or do you think they screwed up before delivering it to me?

The 11 is not active when you buy it from Walmart. If you're trading the device none of this is important.

Once you go through the setup in the phone it registers with apple. It will show the warranty starts that day. The phone isn't activated so there is no valid purchase date until that happens. This doesn't happen though Walmart. It happens once the phone registers on Apple's servers.

3. Go to BB cell phone section and show them order and phone
5. After few mins, they will give u new google pixel camera phone and ur taxes will be adjusted accordingly

So you're saying I don't have to be concerned with any of the setup or activation, right? I can just take it out of the wrapping, turn it on, and take it over to trade in?

I ordered a lemon grass phone and it was supposed to be available for pickup yesterday but now it says delayed and not available in any stores around. It is available for shipping though. If I place a new order with shipping, how can I trade in phone? Will BB send a separate trade-in box or should I give in store and will I get same promotion $460?

My lemon grass phone was supposed to be available for pick up on Friday. I got my IPhone xr phone yesterday. I will probably go to the store and try to do the promo with a Pixel 7 that is in stock and then will cancel the online order.

Yes. I literally bought my phone at Walmart, double checked no sim was in the phone, put some fingerprints on it to make it look used, and drove to BestBuy and got the Pixel. Fingerprints optional 😂
