Yeah, but not sure why some stores catch it while others don't. Maybe some just do the IMEI check in their system, but a few Google the model number to check for that if they're a stickler and trying to avoid those phones. I just traded that exact model number to a Best Buy an hour ago. It was an unlocked TW refurb that I got a few months ago.

Has anyone noticed this - The P7P display colors are washed out. It is not vibrant like P6P and colors are not true. I wondering if it is just me or all the units have this issue. Anyone experienced please help and let me know. I wanted to return it to best buy saying it is defective but now they are asking for $45 restocking fee
You can change the colors in the settings -> display -> Adaptive (instead of Natural)

that should help a bit.

It is already adaptive. Have found lot of threads online complaining about it. What i am not sure if it is only fee batches or all devices have this issue. Do you see the difference if you compare to an android or ios device you have

We can do this deal twice, right?

Yesterday, I placed an order for a Pixel with in-store pickup that's set to arrive Saturday. But after seeing some people have issues trading TW / Tracfones, I decided to go to another store and try it in person for ship to home. I figured that way I'd have two shots at it in case they gave a problem. It was an unlocked TW refurb and they took it and placed my order no problem, $48 total after trade. I had planned to cancel my original online order. However, I actually have a brand new in the box XR from TW that I just activated recently and figured I'd sell or gift in a couple months when it unlocks. Now, I'm thinking of trading that XR for my original Pixel order when it comes in to the store instead of canceling my order. The new XR won't unlock until after Christmas, so getting another new unlocked Pixel before then would probably be better than waiting for the XR. Any thoughts? I originally had no intention of doing this deal twice, but now it has me wondering if I should give it a shot.

Just picked up mine (two). I paid the whole ~$1k using 5 different gift cards, and the trade-in credits went back immediately to them. So make sure you keep your gift card(s)! There was no coupon printed or new gift card issued for the trade-ins, which was different from what I thought.

Will they still honor the full trade in value after tonight if you have one scheduled for pickup later in the week?

not necessarily could be at&t verizon etc phone going by model # doesn't really tell u. Need to check both IME # and serial of phone and will tell u like this website
https://imeicheck.com/iphone-carrier-check

But yeah my guess is most employee take customer word for it and ain't gonna enter all 3 of them long numbers to check LOL. Guy that did mine seemed to spend more time hooking up the fingerprint reader to take my prints tbh laugh out loud probably just check to see if it's blacklisted tbh cuz if he would've looked mine up would've told him straighttalk locked phone too Smilie

The model number seems to be enough to narrow down carrier in many instances. See the list of model numbers linked below showing dozens of those xxxxx/LL models and many linked to particular carriers (under the "A1984" section). The MH5G3LL model isn't in that list, but that number seems to point to Tracphone model from everything else I see when you Google it.
