I have no idea, just asking. I'm old enough to remember if you left the radio on your battery would be dead by morning then would need to push start it and pop the clutch.

That's a big part of why I've waited for their price to come down. Really hard to justify throwing $1000+ at a device that might end up an expensive brick with no warranty support in a couple years...
That said, Ecoflow does seem like one of the more reputable manufacturers out there... was yours an Ecoflow?
LifePo4 is heavier, and less efficient than traditional lithium ion batteries. But can be charged 3000 times before they reach 80% capacity. The traditional lithium ion on the original River Pro can be charged 800 times before reaching 80% capacity.
Unless you need this on a daily basis such as a job site, the old lithium ions are a much better deal for the money. But even then, even on a daily basis, after 3 years you would be more concerned about the electronics wearing out before the batteries do.
i ordered a river 2 max a week ago. no solar panel included

But I sure would like to rebuild/upgrade my batteries soon. Lead acid is a real pita.

and also used my CITI 12-month 0% APR at $34 a month. You really can't get much slicker than that.
Thanks Guys

I was planning on buying the River 2 Max using the $180 off coupon, but this deal is not only cheap, it includes a high quality solar panel.
Jumped on it.

No chance. It may not even power one small mini fridge. The surge on any fridge is going to be higher than 1000 watts for a split second, and then they go down and idle at like 60-150 watts depending on the size.
I've tried this and had to get larger inverters. 2000 watts minimum is required.
