Low price, but the resolution on this thing is abysmal.

If you know what a PICO projector is and know what the trade-offs are this is the best price to performance there has been available.

540p is fine for consuming video entertainment and even video games if text isn't a main part of the game.

I own this, it's surprisingly bright for its size .
The PQ is not the best but considering what it is it's very accessible. The built In speakers and smart features leave a lot to be desired. It's over all build quality is high but it could
Really use a tripod mount on the bottom of it. 7/10

The same is about the same (if not slightly worse) than the deal a few months ago:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16031626-wemax-go-ti-dlp-portable-laser-projector-w-40-inch-portable-screen-120-more-free-shipping-1-year-warranty

Back then for $120 you also got the screen - supposedly $40 value, leaving the projector at $80.

The previous thread sparked a pretty lengthy discussion. Some of the pros and cons are important, so if you are considering it then definitely go through the comments.

For what it is - it is a super-bright projector, but the 540P resolution might be an issue for some.

That's when I got mine. The screen is of high quality but the size almost defeats the purpose of a projector in most situations. I've used it in our RV a few times and even when projecting directly on our silver/ black REYO 25T it was very enjoyable all considered.

Does anyone own this and the Anker Nebula Astro Mini? I know this does not have android TV etc, but wondering how the quality and interface compare.

Anker pros
Built in battery
Smart tv is
Probably better speakers
Tripod mount

Cons
480P
100 lumens
Awkward shape

Wemax pros
Slim design and quality case
Very bright 300 lumens
540P
Auto keystone

Cons
No real smart OS built in
Crappy built in speaker
No built in battery
No tripod mount

Anker is more of a complete package but the picture quality will be lower vs the wemax IMHO.

The "$40" screen is nice for certain applications, but it also has been on sale for $25, that's when I bought mine... so the Go value is only a $5 difference.

480p used to be the standard and you could get a nice image from it. Infocus X1 was the bang for the buck projector in 2004.

People complaining of 540p for a limited use device like this don't watch movies, they watch pixels.

Probably the same people who buy a 2k or 4k phone, but never change the default resolution which is 1080p ultra wide....lol

Unless you need to carry around a projector in your pocket...

There are several native 1080p LED projectors on amazon that will do much better than this. They are all under $100 with different coupons they rotate around on the product page (Current decent ones, HAPPRUN, FEBFOXS)

https://www.thesmarthomehookup.co...under-100/ [thesmarthomehookup.com] (siome authentic tests).
NOTE: Nearly all of these use old cell phone displays and a basic light that shines through. It will look good initially, and your link does rank well how each starts. However, as the light source heats up the "screen" it will gradually warm, distort, color shift and die.

The linked product uses a vastly different tech (DLP) which is miniaturized "real" projector tech. While the resolution is low, this is a good brand and a ok product.

I, personally, would prefer a used projector off ebay in the $100-$150 range. I would only recommend projectors from your list if planned to be used as he does (outdoors where it is cool, for a few hours a day, over the course of a few weeks a year).
