I heard that the Vertuo are more expensive capsules but have better crema.

Some people even swear that the Original Line are much better. Unfortunately, the different Line of capsules are not interchangeable between the different machines.

Price matched at Target. Better than QVC deal IMO because the only return I ever had to do with QVC was a nightmare. Much rather deal with Target.

I own both and honestly people claiming the original line are better are coping. The vertuo capsules are much better quality, if only that they come in different sizes so you can actually have a full cup of coffee instead of using multiple original line pods. You get what you pay for and we only use the original for decaf pods since there's only a few options for decaf for vertuo. Every other case thr coffee is just better on the newer machine. My parents also have an original and I just ordered them this one for chirstmas.

I have an original line machine. It's a little annoying that I'm not able to brew a larger latte (I end up making two minis instead), but I still love my Lattisima Pro.
