It's just another company releasing games on VR. It's fine. If you want try the game out once you download it to see if it's right for your son. But this one should be safe. I recommend Zenith if you want to buy a game. Great MMO.

There are plenty of App Lab games that are great. It's just games that aren't for sale in the official meta store. Most games my kids play are applab games. Other than rec room.

Lots of great ones, they are just not "official" releases yet and may still be in development etc.

I'm sorry, but I watched the video trailers for each game and they look absolutely horrible. Not worth the time, broadband or space to download.

App Lab is not inherently bad. It's just not premium (yet). There's some good, and a whole lot of meh. Much of it is a waste of time.

It's something that's good to know. Since it was known that this was App Lab, it simply should have been in the title so that those of us who are VR snobs wont waste our time with it. Smilie

The main criticism is that anything in the AppLab by definition is free so calling it a deal is a bit odd. You should be aware of it and there's cool things to check out there.

FYI if you haven't set it up yet be sure to take advantage of the referral deal (anyone else with a Quest account can give you a referral code and you and they both get $30 to use in the store - also last XMAS they doubled it) https://www.oculus.com/quest-2-referrals/ Just have to do it before you activate.
