Im thinking of Samsung HE-Q990B over Sonos. Samsung seem to have built a really solid one. Beating Sonos and Bose in almost every category.

Have had this and the whole sonos system for almost two years now. Pretty expensive compared to other options but its great with a good bit of power and really makes a difference with the arc and ones. Looks good and fits in the room but smudges super easily.

I had the original Sonos soundbar which was great by itself, when I added the subwoofer and surrounds...WOW. Get ready for your theatrics experience.

It doesn't matter what Samsung changes. HW-Q990B already does everything Sonos does , only much better. There would be no need to change unless there is groundbreaking upgrade. Which barely happens in Speaker industry anyways.

Having said that, if you are in for a decent eco system to get into, id choose Sonos over Bose. Sonos is solid.

Sorry Samsung does not update products or fix issues a year after a product comes out. Sonos still updates and adds features to my 8 year old Sonos play base.

Were they new? If so that was the deal of the century. This is the lowest I've ever seen the Sub. Rumor has it they're coming out with a new Atmos-focused Optimo line so they may be lowering the price of their existing stuff.
