Adorama has Korg B2N 88-Key Lighter-Touch Digital Piano w/ Audio & MIDI USB on sale for $279. Shipping is free.

Thanks to Deal Editor iconian for sharing this deal.

About this item:
  • The B2N is equipped with the NT (Natural Touch) keyboard newly developed by Korg. It reproduces the touch of an acoustic piano, with heavier action in the low register and a lighter feel in the upper register, while distinctively providing a great-feeling sense of key-strike that is not fatiguing even during extended playing sessions. It's also the ideal piano for children who are being introduced to piano for the first time.
  • The B2N is light not only in its touch but also in form factor. It weighs 9.3 kg, approximately 2 kg lighter than the standard B2. You can use the dedicated SC-B2N soft case (sold separately) to transport it.
Includes:
  • 88-Key Digital Piano
  • AC Adapter
  • Music Stand
  • Damper Pedal
  • Module Software

They're very different actions, but let's be accurate and not use words like inferior, because that implies there's a better or worse and the reality is there is not.

This model unlike the b2 regular, is spring loaded, without hammer action.

The b2 regular, has the hammer action.

The Lp380 has, a "different" hammer action, heavier feeling than B2.

B2 is in the light range like P45 or Es110.

Alot of stage players prefer this type of spring action B2N, because it's easier to play fast pop tunes.
There's Amex offer for bhphoto. $25 back on $250.

Very nice keyboard, got it last time when it was on sale for $399. The only complaint I have is the buzzing sound that this keyboard has even when nothing is playing. I play in a very quiet room and sometimes with headphones and this noise can be annoying. Other than that this has solid (hard) piano feeling, nice Piano/ElectricPiano sounds, large speakers and great USB interface (you can play rhythm on phone/ipad that will be played on piano speakers. It comes with paddle which is a must for pianos and it does its job although it is small and tends to run around if not holding on to it with your foot. Overall, for this price it's a great buy.

My grandfather is looking for one that has music melody stored in it. Does this have that feature?

I assume the B2B action is quite a bit inferior to e.g. the LP-380? Or are they quite similar?

A seriously good deal. If I didn't already have a Yamaha, I'd be buying this for sure. Heck, I admit to being tempted anyways, just for the fun it would be to have the lighter touch keys.

Thanks for the info. I have the LP-380 on order (currently backordered). Looking for something similar to an acoustic piano, so the LP-380 seems like the much better choice. Already have a higher end Yamaha, but want something for my basement.
