They should be selling these for a buck with free shipping. Read the reviews first. The advertisement pics do not represent what they send you.
Several reviews do mention that it looks more brown than gray and doesn't look "distressed" like in the pictures. But the reviews are still good, 5 star = 84% / 4 star = 9%. Still say it's a quality strap, for $10 bucks.

It's rated 4.7 with 500 reviews. That's a glowing rating. Where have you ever seen a cotton guitar strap with leather ends for $1? You haven't. Even the shitty plastic ones from alibaba cost more.

Take it out in the yard. Throw it in a pile of dirt. Make some more coffee with old coffee grounds and throw it on it. Jump around on it. Hose it off. Hang dry. Now it's distressed.
I used to make "pirate maps" when I was little with a dirt and a lighter. Distressing is easy.
I actually bought this before it was on slickdeals. Great strap for my new slickdeals bass. Seems pretty high quality for the price. It looks pretty much like the picture. Return for free if you end up not liking it. It's a steal at $9 IMO.
I grabbed a couple of their leather straps when guitar center was clearing them out for $5 a couple years ago. Basic but good quality and gets the job done better than cheaper nylon. Invest in something a little more plush if your guitar is heavy.

I guess you missed it. check the 1 star reviews. a guy posted a pic of what it looks like. if that works for you, great. if not, pass. IMO, its ugly as hell and is nothing at all like the advertised photo, but to each their own.

Perri's "cloth" straps aren't that great, but their leather straps are my go-to brand. They're one of the few manufacturers that make 65" straps for us tall guys

Actually ended up with a different bass from this thread. It was a green Jackson strata I offered $275 and was accepted. Love it so far. Couldn't get myself to get the concert bass, didn't like the headstock.

Ahh, I wondered why I didn't recall any super recent bass deals. I was on vacation the week that dropped, so I missed it. I love the Rickenbacker vibes of that one, but agree with you on the headstock. I can't get on board with the pointy Jackson headstocks. Looks out of place on that bass. The Spectra headstock would look better on it. You got a nice deal at $275.
I just picked up a Sterling StingRay 5 string last month from a Musician's Friend stupid deal. Was a nightmare because they shipped it from a Guitar Center and it was put in the box with a chunk of wood missing from the body. Didn't want to exchange it because they told me it would come from another GC store again if I did, as their warehouse didn't have any. So I convinced them to give me a different color (which I liked more anyway) and did a return and re-buy with a matched price. Worked out in my favor.

On sale again from the same seller. Mine was new in box. They took $275 for anyone interested.

That's what my parents use to do to me, and then I had to mow the lawn.
