After that you install Ubuntu and use it forever technically. 8gb enough for any daily work with Linux.

I almost passed on this deal, but decided to give it a shot. This laptop is great. There's never been a Chromebook with 8gb ram at this price. This thing is fast and a steal at this price. It is true that it can be difficult to see the keyboard keys. But crank up the keyboard light with alt + brightness and that fixes the issue.

Sounds good.. How much was that cable for? Also is this Chromebook good enough to take online classes on Google Meet or Zoom? Will it boot up fast? My current Dell Inspiron Laptop is taking almost 15 mins to just boot up..

Agree with this. I have it. Great for the price point. And if you understand how to use linux apps with wine on it, you can run some non chrome os stuff that runs pretty wel. I.e blender.
