I was slowly replacing my house switches for the last ~ 3 years with kasa devices and this is going to be my third and the last iteration after which the transition will be completed! By this point I own around 40 devices and I'll tell you that I had close to 0 issues with them. My garage switch randomly disconnected once and I had to reset it, thats it, no issues during 3 years of usage. The best part is that if you consider switching from alexa or google to home assistant OS - kasa devices use local pulling which means that all your devices will communicate over you local network and NOT through the cloud. This means insane response times and reliability plus no internet required to run automations. Highly recommend kasa products!
P.S. they did mess up big time with 3 way dimmer switches though. There are multiple issues with the first version that can't be fixed with firmware updates so make sure to buy the V2 version only. I already installed one and it works flawlessly.
I honestly don't see any "deals" here, other than the smart outdoor plug. Everything else is regular price (Amazon calling it a "sale" doesn't make it a sale). There's nothing here that's got me pulling the trigger on anything. The original post is everything Kasa that Amazon sells at regular price.
I agree on the Power Strip. I don't really know anything about the Camera. I did buy the Outdoor Plug since I saw on another posts that that is a decent deal and works. I guess I'll hold off on the Power Strips and Cameras for now.

I have the older version of the outdoor plugs and it works great with holiday lighting. Smart plugs on all the indoor lighting and everything is on a schedule. No remembering to turn lighting on/off.

Hey Mr.,
Do you have any thoughts on these Kasa light bulbs?
I am new to all this smart home stuff. I just bought a Google Nest Hub Max (has not arrived yet) and am looking for some "bright white" bulbs for the bedrooms. The one here look to be soft white if I am not mistaken.

You don't want to go any cooler than 3000k in a bedroom, in my opinion. The Kasa bulbs I have allow selecting white temperatures from 2500k to 9000k.

$20 (after 15% CB) for the 4-pack of smart plugs, $5 a plug, is pretty good and worth it. Ditto on the outdoor plug.
I don't see any quite THAT high on Amazon, but I will keep looking around.
Rep'd!!!

What I'm saying is, the Kasa bulbs, at least the KL135 model, will allow you to do virtually any temperature you want… soft white, bright white, daylight, etc. They also allow you to set the brightness and change the color.
Why kasa products are very cheap compare to wemo or lutron
They are TP Link. Kasa is just the app or platform these smart switches operate. They are very reliable thought. I used them all over my hose from light switches, plugs, outlets etc. They are very handy especially when controlling Christmas decor and lights.
Is there a good option for outdoor scheduled on/off for Xmas lights?
Can they be manually controlled on iOS, and continue operating normally on scheduling without further intervention?

We're gonna see a lot of sales on smart home products while manufacturers transition to Matter. It's gonna hard to resist, but it's probably a safer long term bet to wait for the Matter devices.

I'm wanting to get the 'best' cheap cameras with alexa compatibility..
