I bought the $188 one and it was trash. Straight-on viewing was ..ok... but anything at even a slight angle and it was awful. This is the 55S41 $188 on Nov 8 or thereabouts, that I'm micro-reviewing.
I took it back, and I'll keep using a 2010 Sony; the Sony was superior.
I have a TCL 55" 4 series since they dropped to $299… like back in 2017. Used in bedroom so it's only straight - on viewing, room isn't large enough to test wide angles. But we have been very happy with the TV at price paid.
Yes I know its very easy to remove/return the contract within the walmart app. At this point it won't hurt just to take delivery and then do it after. You have 30 days or so to purchase the service plan
Hi. What's the process to purchase it after? I used a friend's Walmart+ account.
I have all 3. The 55 TCL 5 from BB, the 55 TCL 4 from Walmart and just bought the 65 TCL 4 from Walmart (1 for delivery and 1 to pick up). Putting the TCL 4 and 5 next to each other the 5 is a far better set. Nothing wrong with the 4 but side by side and the 5 really shines. If you don't care about getting a 65 inch versus the 55 inch, the 5 is a far better deal. The 65 TCL 4 should be about the same picture quality as the 55 TCL 4.
All valid points. However, if you calibrate all TVs, the improvement may not be that great. The eyes are very forgiving without side by side comparison.
I bought this TV for 200$ on BF 2020 target with Android and is quite happy with the quality. Only downside is the google chromecast is slow, but well worth 200 bucks.
So I just ordered this and the $10 coupon WOWFRESH worked.
In regards to receiving the item, it showed it was in stock at 2 locations close to me but the earliest pick up date is Friday Nov 25th.
Since it shows in stock, think I can go in-store and try and get it early? Or are they shipping it to the store so I can pick it up Friday?
Any input it appreciated.
Thank you!
Is it the same model that's available in the store. They have the TCL 65S451 available in my stores too but not the BF model.
Stores will have the BF models on Friday to everyone which is probably why pick ups are on Friday.
I can't find any dimensions for the box listed anywhere, but it seems unlikely, especially keeping in mind that a tv should always be transported vertically.
