They are also going to have a model with a 5 Ah battery for $200 for Black Friday. This is a great deal but the battery doesn't exactly seem to match the tool.

I live in the middle of the woods with 300 feet of driveway. Personal experience, after cutting the grass I can blow off around my whole house, sidewalks, front porch, back deck and my whole driveway on one battery with the "turbo" basically engaged the whole time. If you're doing a heavy leaf cleanup the 2.5 isn't ideal but for summer cleanup it's sufficient.

Expanding - the 5 mah battery is great I have it for my chainsaw but the weight of the 2.5 is noticeably lighter. I've bought extra tools just for the 2.5 batteries it's easy enough to swap out mid way through a job if I feels it's necessary and that way I always have extra batteries if needed or I forget to throw one on the charger

My leaves get cleaned up with two of these...one in each hand. Two leaf blowers is so much more effective for me than one.

These are very good leaf blowers.

I agree completely. At this price, it is worth it for the 2.5 battery and the extra leaf blower as a backup.

I see $149 in NY. I looked up the 2.5 battery and that is showing up as $179. Think I have to pull the trigger even though I don't need a blower I love my backpack Husqvarna but I really want a Ego trimmer. An extra battery with a blower for less than the price of a battery seems like a no brainer.
