My least favorite whey powder. It's super thick. Consistency of 1 scoop is equivalent to 4 scoops of Dymatize ISO100. Tastes decent though.

Tons of sodium and gmo feed go into those chickens though. Anyone recommend and protein powder without any artificial sweeteners that actually taste good?

This is actually a pretty solid deal in today's market. Since unlike most of the "deals" being posted here from the endless amount of supplement brands/suppliers who simply don't include the total amount of protein content stated on the label in the process of meeting that mass market consumer demand for lower offered costs (since 99.9% would never know/see the difference anyway, they are under zero legal obligation to do so, and there is no FDA'like body checking up or reporting in on that stuff), Cellucor is a pretty reputable brand in the industry. Obviously best known for making the most popular pre-workout formula ever, but who's protein powder also has a history of passing legitimate 3rd party testing.

Chocolate only stinks though. Still worth the buy though if you like chocolate and are among the large majority of bodybuilding science newbies out there who don't actually need or see any tangible benefit is spending more on pure isolate powders (aka: barring legit allergy or sensitive digestive concerns, the micro fraction difference in most cases and in the grander scheme of how it all adds up isn't ever going to show up in your desired "gains".)

I really appreciate this insight. I absolutely hate thick protein shakes.

I noticed in the ingredients that two thickening agents, Cellulose Gum and Xanthan gum, are listed. They also seem to be listed higher up on the ingredient list than in most protein powders.

This is a hard pass for me.

FYI - XTEND Pro Protein Powder is also ridiculously thick.

This stuff vs Sams/Costco chicken

Cellucor with additives of questionable origin
Servings per container: 70
Protein per serving: 24g
Cost per g of protein: $0.02552
---------------------
cost per 24g: $0.61

Whole chicken, with fiber, you know the stuff that nature created
Total protein: 164.2g
Cost: $4.99
---------------------
cost per 24g: $0.73

remember, what you do in the kitchen is more important than what you do at the gym. play the long game, you will not find any shortcuts.

The reality there is you are asking for something on a deal shopper website that simply is not going to realistically be found very often in today's market from a reputable supplier AND at a very noteworthy sale price point. Unless you are willing to pay more of a premium to get it. Period. People kicking and screaming about that and longing for the prices of days past doesn't change that current reality either.

That said these guys have a pretty solid on the up and up track record of providing a lot of the more extreme bodybuilding enthusiasts what you seem to want there. I happily used them for years before the major wholesale supply costs spike for the entire industry (their prices almost doubled accordingly) basically pushed my cheap butt into being more willing to make a compromise in the amount of additives i was willing to accept in a trustworthy powder if it meant a cheaper overall price switching over to the bigger mainstream brands:

I hate when they have these numbers but then you realize its 2 scoops serving they are talking about. Good deal though with the way prices are today on whey. Im going to wait for Black Friday. Pretty sure will find the same price on different brands as well.

PS for those complaining its to thick. Use water instead.

For somebody who's actually taking their supplement intake seriously? No.

You might as well just wait to see what Walmart has their house blend powder at on black friday/cyber monday before throwing down on that mass market junk.
