With the different phones out now and to be released from various carriers, I figure we all have a lot in common with the Android OS. We can discuss what we like, need help with, what apps are cool or don't work well, as well as questions and help issues. Given that CSR's from the various carriers may know less than we do, this thread is for all of us so we can help one another.

I keep mine plugged in to USB as well. Haven't gotten the car charger yet as I'm still not sure that I will be sticking with the Hero. Might get redneck, do a couple of returns and get a different phone in 3 months or so. Am hoping that HTC will release a HD2 for Sprint. Stick Out Tongue

lol thats at work. This weekend, I would only charge when I would go to sleep,and that would only be a few hours. Never even went yellow on me. Didnt do much except txt on it,and make a few drunk calls here and there,but battery life kept up well,even when it was roaming 90% of the times in the casinos.

yeah, txt and talk doesn't kill mine that much. It's all the damned web stuff. Also, I have exchange synced which probably doesn't help.

According to Sprint forums, there is a MR update (said to be confirmed by CS reps and HTC) for the hero that should be pushed out to phones starting today.

Started using a music app I just love! It is called MixZing and is kind of like Pandora except it uses your own music files on your microSDHC card. You play a song and the app gives you recommendations from your music files based on that song. As each song plays you can rate it "+" or "-" and the app refines the playlist. You can name and store the playlist as well. Pretty kewl, especially if you have hundreds of music files!
