For those who don't know, Hart tools are made by TTI, who also owns Milwaukee, Ridgid and Ryobi among others. I was able to get this set when it was on clearance and it is excellent. All Hart hand tools have a lifetime warranty BTW.
They obviously did very well by making a deal to sell their tools at Walmart, but don't make the mistake of thinking the quality is any less than what the same company is selling to Home Depot, or you might miss a pretty slick deal.
Their warranty forces you to call the toll free number and wait on hold. They will tell you to physically go to an "authorized repair center", which happened to be around 40 miles away, bring them the tool and fill out a claim form. The "repair center" will then forward the claim to TTI and TTI will get back to them in 7-15 business days.
When I found out about all hoops they make you jump through, I went to Home Depot and bought a replacement. No more Hart tools for me.
Home Depot warranty, bring them the broken tool to a store, they replace it on the spot.
For comparison...check out Lowes has a Kobalt 257-Piece Standard (SAE) and Metric Combination Polished Chrome Mechanics Tool Set (1/4-in; 3/8-in; 1/2-in) with Hard Case
for $99
My local Walmart has this Hart 140 mechanic toolset on sale for $42(50% off)…it has both Shallow & Deep sockets in SAE & MM. I am not quite sure if this regional..YMMV.
So, I would have thought the sam's channel lock or Husky at HD or Kobalt at Lowes would have been better than this Hart one. But, how to pick between the other three…

Picked this up during the summer when it was $89. No complaints, they look and feel good. Only thing I wish is it was better organized by drive size in the drawers like the home Depot sets are.
