I bought one of these when I got my ps5. Don't recommend, it's not very good. I was hoping it would be on the level of the old ps3 media remotes but it's not very useful and I still find myself picking up a dualsense for some functions.
Amazon is better price, $19.99
The old girl still works, so I haven't bothered. Will likely upgrade the next time I move, but for now it fits the bill for what I need so I'll let it ride until it actually needs a replacement.

PS5 still has many software streaming apps that do not support 4k HDR and limited to SDR at 1080p. Damn Crime……….

No point in owning a PS5 with that TV, you don't have anything above 1080p 60hz and definitely doesn't support HDR.

Might as well be playing on a Series S……

You need a new tv to make your console shine, heck you can pickup an Oled for less than $1000 today that supports 4k 120Hz.

If you paid $500+ for a PS5 you have to do it justice……..

Facts why put ware and tear on your ps5
I used the PS2 as my only DVD player, PS3 and PS4 has my only Blu Ray player. All these years later they still work perfectly fine. Most likely your tech will be outdated before it breaks down under normal use.

Don't use PS5 or Xbox Series X for video streaming — here's why

https://www.tomsguide.com/news/do...-heres-why

Power consumption much higher than built-in TV apps or a stick like a Fire TV or Roku.

Had this for about a week now.
Pros: If used stictly for media it does well instantly paired with my no name 2013 tv. Makes it convenient to watch shows.

Cons: the buttons are tiny and have no shape to them, what I mean is the buttons are flush to the remote which looks nice but in practice it's hard to tell which button your pressing in the dark. If you always have the light on in the room you'll do fine but because of the shape of the remote I always end up initially pressing the wrong buttons. Also on this note, it's difficult to know when you press something because it barley gives feedback. I just wish it had traditional buttons it feels over engineered. Should have just kept it simple.

Overall, it's good for $20 if you use your PS5 for a lot of media but otherwise just skip this. it's nice to be able to turn off the tv with a single remote but… why is there no power off button for the ps5? Seems like a basic feature.

I've had mine since I got it a year ago and I've loved it. It really saves the controller from the family dropping it and taking off with it.
