If you are comparing Macy's colognes with Amazon, you have a lot to learn about colognes and its genuine sellers. Dillard's, Bloomingdale, Sephora, and Macy's sell original colognes. Amazon is mostly fake when it comes to colognes.

I have around 90 bottles of designer and niche, and the ADG line is one of my favorites for freshies. This scent has a blast of fruity opening that drysdown to a woody aromatic scent. People will like it, and it's versatile. For this price, I'd recommend it for sure.

As far as fakes go I think it's important to note that most fragrances aren't faked. The super popular ones are. This is not one of them. The normal Acqua di Gio is faked, Bleu De Chanel is faked but usually these lesser known ones are overstock when they come from Amazon and third party retailers. The bottles offer cost close to the juice too. So if you have a legit bottle you probably have legit juice. When you get into Creed and Tom Ford you have to worry but not so much with your $100 brands.

Acqua Gio is one of the best smelling colognes out there, but unfortunately by the time you set the bottle down the smell has already dissipated. Shame because for a very short period it smells really good.

With the fakes, even if they do smell the "same," the scent tends to not last nearly as long. They often fade out fairly quickly.

You want Profumo not absolu. Absolu was considered a flop by most measures. Check out the reviews.

I have Profumo and the new ADG EDP that just came out. The Profumo is a masculine scent that you can wear anywhere imo. The new EDP is super fresh and a nice "out of the shower" smell however I noticed it doesn't last long. The Profumo is the master piece.
