For occasional use, these bits are perfectly fine. I bought this set when it was $49.99 a couple years ago and use them with the ryobi palm router for board edges and some freehand groove cutting. I would say start with a set like this then determine what bits you find more useful and get a better quality version of that.

If you're more serious about routing, these are 1/4 bit and are more light duty. You'll want 1/2 bits instead for bigger projects.

Ive had this set and a couple sets like it— gifted to me lol. They are ok for the rare and occasional use. But if it's something that you will use with any frequency, you are much better to buy a single good bit from freud or alike as it will last through tons of use and not burn your wood.

I recommend skip on these router bits and go with Whiteside or Amana bits. Of course they are expansive but you don't need 30 pieces of router bits at once.

There are some half decent spiral bits coming out of China for fairly cheap if you don't want to spend the money on Whiteside. They're on urlhasbeenblocked now and will probably be on Amazon soon.

Do you know if there's any difference bt Freud and Diablo?

That's the exact advice I got too; buy only what you need.

Freud is the branding for their top products, Diablo is the stuff they sell at the home centers

Same with their saw blades

Bosch owns both, including Fisch. You can get Bosch-branded bits out of their Austrian (Fisch) or Italian plants for relatively cheap.
