I am getting ps5 for my boys for Christmas I know this will work on it but should I get the ps5 version what is the difference between the two when played on a ps5 system

Largely graphics quality and possibly frame rates (30FPS vs 60FPS), which is most noticeable if they have a TV/monitor that can display them.

If you're getting them a PS5 and the price is the same, get the PS5 version. If the PS5 version is out of stock, I believe you can purchase the PS4 version and get a free upgrade to the PS5 version via the PS Store since this was a "launch" title. Not every game has a free upgrade though, so get the PS5 versions when you can unless the price difference is less than $10 (upgrade cost).

I need this for PC. For anyone who has played this, what's the youngest age that you think might be able to play?

I know it says "teen", but my kiddo really wants to play.

Teen is the violence rating like in movies (PG-13). In terms of difficulty, I probably wouldn't put this in front of a kid under 12. It does require a good amount of familiarity with a controller, reflex and coordination.

My kiddo is 5, but we've been playing computer games with Xbox controllers for about a year now. He's surprisingly capable, but I didn't know how complicated the storyline is.

If it isn't too violent (whatever that means anymore) maybe it's a game we can play together?

Gonna be honest… idk how this is a deal when you could spend $75 for a whole year of PlayStation Plus Extra.

Yes… it's $55 more… but you'll get access to a much bigger library than just one game: and you can play this one game also. And the first one.
