Doesn't look like this has any additional trade in credit promotion (or at least it doesn't show online). I've heard it's still going on in store recently though, in one of the samsung phone threads.

I just did this deal last week and traded in my S21. Trade in value on S21 was $800, $600 credit from Samsung and a $200 Best Buy gift card. I used the Best Buy gift card to pay off the remainder of the new phone and still had $35 left on it ($15 tax on the cost of the phone minus the $600 credit). And no contract on my new s22 Plus

The S21 value + gift card has been reduced to $600 (from $800) now.

I found out the hard way while returning a phone which didn't have software support I needed.
I paid the restocking fee, and closed my BestBuy account. I'll be shopping with Amazon/CostCo instead.

If you buy it in person they make a big deal about the restocking fee. They make you sign a separate screen acknowledging the $45.00 restocking fee if you open the box.

I did exactly this same procedure. Traded two S21's for two S22Plus. Got two gift cards: one for each phone. Each GC had $200. The $600 Samsung credit went directly towards the new phones, making their final price $150 before tax. So the final transaction goes like this:
$200GC - ($150 phone + tax) = leaving around $35 on the GC.
Because I traded two phones, I had $70+ of GCs, which I used to buy the HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard for my son for $69 before tax. Great Deal!

There's no separate or additional $200 GC. I traded my S21 when its trade-in value was $800. This $800 was made of a $600 Samsung credit and a $200 BB GC.
