What company did you choose instead? Worried about t-mobile service.
I have ATT service from Red Pocket. From time to time (two or free times a year had problems but after spending some time with thei CS almost everything works- I agee with the others it is a pain) Coverage is uncomperable. T mobile is ok in big cities but if you look at their map 1/3 of the country is not covered...Even along major highways 65 75 68 every couple miles their signal is gone
how long do I have to activate it? or Does it activates once it ships?
my total is $141 in NY, not sure if i should wait for redpocket ebay deals, i think last year i signed for the 3GB for $150
Have you heard answers on your activation question? I am curious too if need to activated immediately or we can buy it now activate plan May be after 2-3 months.

You can just get this deal via Unreal Mobile when you're ready - slightly cheaper after tax too.

That's a solid deal. Though it goes up to 360/yr after the first 6 months.
I'm on Mint for $20/month with 10GB of data. Perfect cost/value for me.
For our backup/family phone, $120/yr is perfect because it's a floater phone. Data access is important, but only in a pinch. If I keep it on Mint the cheapest I can get is $180/yr with 4GB of data, which is not needed.

the page has the Best Buy and Walmart logos - but my local Walmart and Best Buy aren't listed as retailers
