I went into the bios and the ram brand was kingston, it says fury on the stick. Bios is Asrock. B660M-C 2.02. Gpu is gigabyte.

To me, it's a no-brainer. BB has extended return period to mid-Jan 2023 and no restocking fee if unopened. So buying it and waiting a few days to see if a better deal comes up.

If yes, I return it.
If no, I open it.

Seems decent. Thoughts?

PSU is probably a HighPower though.

Just pulled the trigger on this one. 30 series are getting harder to find since they are a better deal (price-performance) than the new 40 series cards. Probably need to upgrade the CPU cooler but still seems like a great deal!

#1 reason to buy this gaming prebuilt: It's not a Dell. Wish I could sell my Alienware without takin a bath on it

The one from Woot is way better deal. For only $50 more, you have DDR5 and a 3080. Only drawback it has 180 days warranty. But by that time, you know if there is any issue.

It's a refurb, sold out, AND If you are certain you will know of any issue within 180 days, then you have either never bought a prebuilt or have been very lucky. My buddy has had to send his back 3 times within a year, shipping paid at his own expense. This same brand and almost same exact setup (11th gen CPU is main difference).

Your buddy sounds unlucky. They wouldn't be selling prebuilts if this was super common. They need to make money, and it's hard to do that when your replacing failed components. Also anecdotal, I've never had a prebuilt that I've purchased for anyone fail inside of at least a year.

They aren't a deal at all though. Nvidia purposefully made the 4000 series more expensive to move the 3000 series without discounting too much
