I went into the bios and the ram brand was kingston, it says fury on the stick. Bios is Asrock. B660M-C 2.02. Gpu is gigabyte.

To me, it's a no-brainer. BB has extended return period to mid-Jan 2023 and no restocking fee if unopened. So buying it and waiting a few days to see if a better deal comes up.

If yes, I return it.
If no, I open it.

Alright I pulled the trigger. I keep waiting for a 12th gen i7 3080 deal to show up for a reasonable price and haven't seen any that didn't sell out right away. I was going to build my own, but didn't really want to spend $1800+ for decent parts.

Stuck between this and the Asus Rog G15. Going to have either one hooked up to an external monitor.
If it's going to be plugged in and connected 100% of the time, this should beat the Asus 100% of the time. Especially in the GPU department.

How much is the overheating really a concern? I know it sounds like you can replace the cooler with just a better air cooler pretty easily, but I'm just hesitant to get into a machine that requires an aftermarket upgrade out of the box. Otherwise this seems a really good deal.

I'm typing this from an iBuyPower desktop I ordered in 2017 with liquid cooled Intel cpu and a GTX1080. Except for being moved 4 times across the country, this machine has been on 24/7 since I got it. It's anecdotal evidence, but it's the most reliable machine I've ever owned. Trust me, I'm not crazy when it comes to maintenance. I might clear the fans and internals with canned air every other month or so and I think I've re-seated all the cards and memory once just to make sure there was no chip creep.

I'm trying to put together a custom build with quality parts but the numbers are coming out noticeably more than this prebuilt. I think I might order for pickup and wait a few days before picking up.

How much more though? Don't forget BB has extended returns right now for the holidays as well.

I'll wait for someone to confirm but I'm pretty sure it comes with a DeepCool Theta?, which is pretty poor if you're pushing the system. It would probably throttle if you're putting it thru its paces but it should be at least usable if you want to wait a bit before replacing it.

Doubtful, but it's worth checking. I had this in my cart and waited too long. Sold out in less than 10 min after a few of us started talking about it.
