I went into the bios and the ram brand was kingston, it says fury on the stick. Bios is Asrock. B660M-C 2.02. Gpu is gigabyte.

To me, it's a no-brainer. BB has extended return period to mid-Jan 2023 and no restocking fee if unopened. So buying it and waiting a few days to see if a better deal comes up.

If yes, I return it.
If no, I open it.

I found an image that shows 2 spots for SSD on the far side of the case but can you check for HDD slots? Perhaps under that PSU cover?

Any thoughts on the airflow on this compared to the MSI i7 / 3060 system on sale at Costco?

Any thoughts overall on airflow, noise and temps from those who have picked it up?

It's super quiet so far. Has 3 fans in the front, one in the back. The top has 3 spots for additional fans, I'm guessing for aio cooler.

Thanks this is super tempting. Wondering if I should just pick up and potentially hold until after next week to see if anything better drops and then just return.

Have you owned an iBuyPower system before? Thoughts on where cut corners might show up over the longer term?

I am also contemplating this vs costco MSI deal. Pretty similar specs for the price. I need USB-C and bigger ram which this one lacks. I think IBuyPower and MSI is similar build quality-wise. People give IBuyPower hard time but upon searching MSI is no better. They had issue with overheating on previous models which I hope the costco one fixed.

I picked it up earlier today. So far I can't install windows successfully. After giving the PC a name (during installation), PC goes blank and goes back to flash screen with rotating dotes (indicating windows), then the screen flickers and goes blank. I kept restarting it but the results remain the same.

I have tried reseating the GPU and replacing the HDMI cable.
Do you have any idea what's wrong? Thanks.

I had either an ibuypower or cyberpower gaming laptop years ago. It lasted me quite awhile before the hinges gave out.

As for this one, the box was heavy when I opened it up, but it felt cheap upon removal. I opened it up and took the protection foam out. The main thing I felt that was cheap was the case. The back plate covering the mobo connections was flimsy aluminum. But every thing else seems fine so far. I also keep getting a pop up about amd software not being compatible, but I'm guessing that came with some of the drivers I downloaded from the asrock site

What happens to the free software (Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Imperial Edition Bundle & Trend Micro Internet Security) they give you? Do they end up charging you for those if you return the computer? I imagine they send you those codes via email right away after you purchase the system.

Well that's good. I hope it's a good one. I usually build my rigs, but last Christmas, It was a no brainer to buy a pre-fab AMD w/a 3060 for just under a grand. I was fortunate, no issues the past year running stock. I might upgrade the CPU/ram/GPU in another year or so if things calm down. Knowing Nvidia, it won't. They are all about the drama. nod

Which one is better deal ? Msi from Costco https://www.costco.com/msi-codex-...52482.html or this one ? Is 3070 a big difference compare to 3060?

Yea one reviewer said they had to upgrade cooling later.
with that' in mind would you consider the other ibuypower with the 3080 to be a better deal since it has the aio cooler?

For gaming, I think the 3070 is the lowest I would go. Lots of 3060 deals out there but not worth it IMHO.

I know everyone is waiting for the unicorn 3080 at a similar price, but here's an iBuyPower 12700KF, 3080, 700w psu w/ liquid cooling for $1499.
