These are only common level gear and +2 to your strength/body stat. There are better choices out there unless you are low level and trying to grind to better stats. A warning though some think these add +5 to charisma and I see many failing attempts by folks trying impress potential mates/companions.
Hahah what?
Other dude stuff like not listening to other dudes on the internet giving psuedo alpha advice?
...I have calluses and still own a pair of gloves. (Just bought these). The point is, the deal is slick. Buy a cheap pair and use them when you need them. With my gloves on or off, I still mange to outlift 90% of people in the gym. I got there by not listening to the "dude" who is more concerned about what other "dudes" think....

It also adds +1 to magic which can be Beneficial to mages and what not but overall I do agree with u that these are low tier and people should at least be looking for gold ones.

These only make your grip weaker in the long run which is not what you want if your goal is to get a stronger grip and increase lifting weights

There might be some small impact on GAINS you'd normally make to grip strength, but you will pay for every bit of grip you get from weights in strain on your hands and potential form issues to avoid that strain.

Gloves are MORE likely to cause form issues for inexperienced lifters than learning proper grip and form on a naked bar. I've yet to encounter a single positive argument for lifting gloves providing any benefit whatsoever outside of "comfort."

True. Unless there is an injury or grip strength is the limiting factor in a particular lift (and your goal is aesthetics over strength training), it's best to steer clear of gloves. Even then, straps would be better if say, you need to rdl heavier but grip strength is keeping you from using a weight to appropriately stimulate muscle growth. Even better, chalk would be the best replacement in those situations IMO.

I'm a CrossFitter, my hands hurt so much 😭 everything does. (I'm honestly looking for a good pair because grip is really holding me back, want it to be minimal and work with my Garmin)

Try chalk first! It'll help with grip while still allowing you to build grip strength.
