I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but if you have a gmail account, say [email protected], you have aliases built in by inserting a "." period. So if you gave your email as [email protected] or [email protected], those would be auto forwarded to your main inbox. Handy for times when you need a "new" email account but can't be bothered to generate a whole new one and need to remember what it was and what the password is.

Best bet is to get this, and when you need to use the Plus part of the membership, upgrade. I usually wait until I need to have something shipped (or a curbside pickup) before I upgrade so the upgrade charge is prorated.

I've only had an issue once. The promo said sign up by "date" and get gift card in store. Tried to redeem giftcard after the date since it was a sign up not redeem by date and it wasn't working. I just said, that's fine I'll go ahead with a membership refund. Magically they found a new code that worked.

Stacksocial gives you the GC upfront so I'll be looking for another one of those deals.

In chase app offers section for my freedom unlimited credit card there is a $10 back for new sams membership which should be $45 or more. I guess if you have chase credit card it might be worth to check in the app and see if the offer is still there for your account and pay with chase credit card for extra $10.

My Wifes membership expired 3 days ago. I was in the system as I had a membership two years ago and I was issued a companion card. Anyone know if I go for this deal in my name this time if it will qualify as a new membership without a waiting period?

Keep in mind, you can cancel your Sams up to the day before expiration and get a full refund. If you are up to doing that, the membership is free plus you will get $50 worth of stuff.

Signed up today, made an in store purchase of $100+, didn't get 50 off.
Now I see this in TC:

Sign up banner states "Join for $50 and get $50 off your first In-Club purchase."

So, I made my first in-club purchase before the 50 offer is loaded to my account within 72 hours.
Am I still eligible for the 50 off?
