I've had the older Duo Plus 6qt for three years and always felt it was too small for me. And there's so many different models now, so I couldn't decide which one to upgrade to. Saw a thread from a few days ago posted about the NEW Duo Plus 8qt on sale for $99 at Belk. Luckily it's still $99 for Black Friday (it's currently listed as Doorbuster, but I feel like it'll stay this price until Cyber Monday).
If you don't cook a lot, the 6qt should be fine. But if you plan on cooking whole chicken and such, I would consider the 8qt.
Sellers in Amazon are inflating the prices and then offering the discount. Do not fall for it. Use chrome extensions to discover the usual price of the product before you buy it
Speaking of amazon
You happen to notice that every day items you look at suddenly have "BLACK FRIDAY DEAL" tag on it. Nothing but a scam to trick people into thinking they getting a deal

True. It saddens that sellers think buyers are gullible enough to fall for it. Though most of them fall for it.
I purchased a Duo last year (older model) at Target for $50, just because. I donated the pressure cooker that I never used even once in my life. I mainly use it to make my aunts marinara sauce, which tastes MUCH better when made in the pressure cooker mode vs stove top. Makes fantastic corned beef & cabbage, and decided to try a smaller bone-in turkey breast the other day. It was FANTASTIC, and freed up the oven for other dishes. Also makes a good smaller batch of chicken stock with a leftover rotisserie chicken carcass; saves a lot of hours simmering on the stove.
A no-regret purchase.
