Seems like I would be annoyed having to have two hands free to open it. It's nice looking, but I don't see why I'd take it over my other Kershaws.

The normal kershaws with assist are a breeze to open with 1 hand.

D2 is a tool steel. That means it's tough and wear resistant, doesn't chip. D2 is popular with fixed blade knives or bush/survival knives. And since Kershaw is known for sharpening their knives razor sharp out of the box, it will stay sharp a long time. But it isn't stainless, so it will be more prone to rusting, so wipe off water and don't keep it in moist environment. Also D2 is easy to sharpen, compared to the "supersteel". A few years ago, these knives would go for $50-60
