Isn't also true that those $5 pads can't even supply the bare minimum current to provide charge for the Pixel 6/7 & so the phone's battery icon will show battery being charge but the battery settings will display "not charging" & after awhile you notice the battery meter doesn't move up either.

Yes, the Pixel Stand is a certified Qi charger at 15 watts for other phones, basically the max you will find. iPhones are limited to only 7.5 watts [apple.com] of wireless charging on any Qi charger though. So this stand will work as well as any Qi charger for iPhones, possibly slightly better due to the fan.
