Amazon has a bundle for $9.98 and it includes the 3rd generation Dot for 99 cents plus Amazon Music Unlimited for 8.99. This is $5 less than the $14.99 standalone Dot price. Just be sure to cancel Amazon Music within 30 days!

I feel that my posted deal for $14.99 for the dot plus 6 months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free is a much better value, if you want to be a subscriber.
Do not waste your subscription for a paltry one-month subscription, which precludes you from other trial offers.
Your deal is better if you don't value the membership at all, and just want the cheaper 3rd gen dot.
Since they have recently crippled the usefulness of the "Free Amazon Music" service, this is the only way to actually play just what you want to hear.
