So if you have 2 of them, you can stereo link/pair it. It's actually pretty good. I set it up in the living room and the sounds feels much more booming than when it was just 1.

In a past deal, you could immediately cancel the music portion and keep the echo for $1. I wonder if that's possible here…

Anyone on an iPhone or iPad open the link in your browser instead of the Amazon app.

I assume to avoid giving Apple a cut of the subscription Amazon app blocks it.

I know amazon must be removing's the negative reviews as they have in the past. (Only way their not being flooded with 1 stars with the current state after the update). I can only hope amazon changes course with the blowback.

Much better than the ugly 'globe' shape of the 4th gen. The point of these were that they were inconspicuous, easy to hide or put on a wall, the dumb round shape ruined that.

However, if you would like to keep the Echo Dot but you do not want the subscription to renew after the first month, I can turn off auto-renew for you now"

How do you guys immediately cancel AMU? I was only offered the option to disable auto-renew by Amazon customer service.

Same happened to me but my brother was able to get his cancelled. I tried twice on my account.

Enjoyed echo until last few weeks. Used to play a ton of nursery rhymes, especially cocomelon. Then it stopped workijg because it's not free anymore. Tried to create a Playlist on Amazon music app and play it instead. Nope. You need to pay for Amazon music to play or shuffle songs from your Playlist. The prime benefits are shrinking and annual fee spiking.

Just bought Google home. Will see, how that works out since it plays directly from YouTube.
