I have a pair and just bough a second, great value at this price.
Pros:
• You can use each earbud independently
• Noise canceling is surprisingly effective at drowning out coworkers in surrounding cubes (have not tried NC on a plane).
• Good range on Bluetooth
• Good bass levels
• Microphone works well on conference calls

Con:
• Slightly uncomfortable after a couple hours of wearing. However, admittedly, I haven't tried all different configurations of the included inserts.

Received mine and set them up. They're working fine my only complaint is you have to make sure the buds are seated properly in the case for them to charge. I'm pushing down in the case when I'm putting them in. Google assistant works fine. The complaints of buds not working may be from not getting them all the way in to the charging case.

I've never tried these, but I do have the JBL Live Free 2, and they are the best sounding JBL earbuds I've ever listened to. Not sure how the original Live Free compares. I'm also interested in seeing how the JBL Tour Pro+ sound. They are supposed to be the most premium earbuds JBL makes.
