The 'What's in the box:' section doesn't include a hi-hat at all, something that both sets normally include, although different models. (KV has CY-5 hi-hat pad with FD-9 foot pedal vs. better KVX's VH-10 that requires a hi-hat stand.).
For comparison, Sweetwater has TD-17KV (not KVX) Generation 2 for $1449.
Might be worth the risk to order it before deal expires and hope for the best (KVX). According to https://www.drumsilent.

I tried calling Adorma customer service 800-223-2500 but they are closed.Still pondering whether I risk the order or not. Good luck to everyone who does.
Update:I ordered the kit today,
Edit - don't know if you saw my post above but the TD27KV2 is currently $900 off at $2,600 so that's another option for you if you want all the latest tech bells and whistles.
I had a module defect on my TD-27 and am working with customer service to find a solution. Adorama has been helpful so far.
