I owned the sunburst version of this Firebird. Really great guitar! Sold it to a friend because the shape was a bit awkward for me but he loves it.

These have CTS pots, Grover tuners and graphtec nuts. The pickups are properly constructed firebird pickups with rails and sound great - clear and articulate with no hum. I ended up grabbing a set off eBay and throwing them in a Jaguar.

It would take a Non-reverse Firebird to get me to bite..... and preferably it be the same color as some of my other guitars so as to delay the wife agro.

Shape does not make a significant difference for electrics. It's mostly about fashion/style.
