Oh snizzy! I paid $999 earlier this year and it was so worth it to me. I returned my U8G for this and have not regretted it. The black bars of the U8G didn't stay black when a bright object was near it but the black bars of the TCL stay black. I'm trying to convince myself to get another one at this price!

If you already ordered from Amazon at $700, and it's shipped, you can stil cancel. Just go to your orders, click the cancellation button, and there should be something to refuse the delivery. You'll get a full refund. Then order from Best Buy (quickly, before they run out). FYI, my Chase Checking account had 10% bash back (up to $25) offer for BB. Or, if you have a Chase Freedom card, you can order from BB using PayPal and get 5% back ($30).

Don't get the Omni. I got that $109 deal and even for that I was upset, black are grey even with tweaking, horrible input latency if using to game and mine wouldn't stay on it's input, I use an Nvidia shield so didn't need the built in fire os and it kept defaulting to it.

I was looking for this deal as i found he TCL 6 Series/R635 is much more effective than the Samsung Q60T QLED. The amazing i witnessed for my previous TCL that it had a 120Hz refresh rate, a much quicker response time, and gets much better.

Not as far as I know. I think the 5% quarterly categories are only on the regular Freedom card. But I just realized that if you have an AmEx card, they have a $25 off $250 offer (YMMV), plus you'll get 3% back for retail purchases, for a total cashbask of ~$53.

Got one, will pick up when store opens. They pulled these off BB shelves a year ago because of the buggy google tv. Hope they have fixed it after a year of updates. If not, just plug in a streaming stick.
