Wouldn't you prefer the longer battery life, a few extra attachments and most importantly, the Costco warranty for a couple of extra bucks?

Still on sale. Got it today with my Costco cash. Was also expecting the stainless looking one but this should do fine.

Got 7000 instead of this because my use case is of hair cutting and 7000 has more guides and wider blade for hair cutting. Hope I don't regret.

Will replace adjustable Philips trimmer bought 10 years or so ago. And a nose trimmer bought at similar time.

The battery of my shaver is nearing the end of its life cycle. It feels so wasteful to just chuck the thing when it's still in excellent shape.

Either way, got this from Costco. My old one was $60+ from Amazon years ago. This seems to be a steal!

That one has two fewer attachments. It's missing the "body shaver" and the 3-7mm adjustable guard. Otherwise it appears identical (apart from the color)

i saw that the nose hair trimmer is billed as a "nose and ear" hair trimmer. from experience i would highly suggest you not use the same trimmer on your nose that you do on your ears (or any other body part). i got a staph infection once and the doctor gave me antibiotic ointment to put in my nose because that is a place where staph likes to live; and there are other bacteria that like to grow there as well. so to be safe, keep your nose hair trimmer to just your nose.

I am just curious. Is it good enough to cut hair?

as long as you get the version with the the body hair trimmer head (like this one), this trimmer seems to be superior in every way. the battery life is much better. and it is a lot more versatile - it does everything the bodygroom does and more.
