Might want to add to your post that the drive at that price is sold by 3rd party seller HyperHawk, not Amazon.

Any issues with HyperHawk? It looks like they have good reviews albeit not that many reviews.

I bought a Seagate x18 ,14TB recertified drive with 5 year warranty for $139 few days ago.

Price gone up to $159 but I think it is still a good deal for the price.

Drive nicely packaged and sealed in the anti static bag. Label had the word recertified directly printed on it which leads me to believe this is an OEM recertified.

Ran an extended SMART test on it with my Synology NAS. It took almost 24 hours and passed with healthy result. No bad sectors found

I would post this as a deal myself but it doesn't meet the minimum product review.

I almost bought the 2 x Ironwolf Pro 16TB's for $269 each that I've seen everywhere, but found this deal here and instead bought 2 of these to replace 4 x 5TB Toshiba's that I've had for about 7 years. I got them from HyperHawk and they arrived in normal boxes with the serials on the sticker. They showed as retail drives with 5 years warranty from Seagate and were in factory sealed bags inside. Drives have the retail sticker on them and not the white label. Zero issues so far and they run much cooler than all the other drives I have and are 250mbps on the outside of the platters. Definitely recommend this deal if you can get it from HyperHawk.

It is back down to $139, but it says it is Amazon refurbished and only a 90 day warranty. Do you think you got a different deal?

I bought it from vender DBSKY. This vendor, Tech on Tech is selling it for the same price $139. But the warranty is the same as stated in the product description "Proven enterprise-class reliability backed by 5-year limited warranty and 2.5M-hr MTBF rating". You also get Amazon's renewal guarantee which allows you return the item for free within 90 days.
