Anyone having issues getting their trade-in devices delivered? Two of my devices were supposed to have been delivered on 22-Dec, but were shuttled between the Nashville PO and Nashville distribution center. Now it says, in transit arriving late...

Welcome to the club! My device went to Memphis, TN then to Jackson, MS, then back to Memphis, then Nashville Annex, then Nashville, then Nashville Annex.... supposed to be delivered last Thursday

USPS postal workers must be incompetent in Tennessee because they keep putting stuff on the wrong trucks apparently
mine is in limbo too. keep on saying moving through network but it is obviously stuck for the last 10 days now.

Now am a bit hesitant to send 2 more trade ins. Maybe i'll wait till 1st week of January for USPS to sort things out.

USPS tracking for my two trade-in phones shipped on 12/19 shows they were "Delivered, Left with Individual" on 12/21, but not acknowledged by Fi yet. The receiving company is probably too overwhelmed with trade-in boxes to process/log them in a timely manner.

Yeah, considering its Google, their IT systems suck. Mine was escalated to a "specialist" team, not sure if that is similar to be esacalated to a supervisor but chat told me to wait - that I have an open case "in progress"
Did your list of action items ever show the phrase "Current Fi member...." ?

Mine still shows activate device and I have been reaching out to support multiple times. This is the last email I got:

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback.
You can locate "conditions met" by logging into your Google Fi account and looking under the billing tab, then selecting "Fi Savings". Please allow a few days for the website to reflect how many days you have remained active.
Per promotions terms:
Remain active and in good standing for 30 consecutive days. Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will void the promotion.
The qualifying device was activated on 12/17/22 which means the 30 consecutive day term will end on 01/16/23.

Yours is better because at least they have received it. With the holidays I would think they'd need some extra time. But some of us... It's in limbo... Not moving even...

I'd bet it was delivered and nobody bothered to scan it at that point.

Don't want to scare you, but I shipped a trade in to Google November 11th, it still says "Moving through the network". My chats with support said don't worry as long as it was post marked prior to promo deadline.

FWIW, my two previous trade-ins in May and Oct never showed Delivered, their last entry was at the Nashville Distribution Center Annex and "Moving Through The System". But Fi showed they were received, inspected, and paid two days after the date of their last USPS tracking entry.

Lol. I did a chat yesterday too and Fi rep said she will escalate it and reach back to me in a couple of days. Don't really know what they can do except maybe say.... "ok you've mailed your trade in and it's not your fault it's stuck somewhere so we'll give you the credit now"... 😊

Also filled out a form on USPS about missing a package... So will see what they say.

Mmmmm.... Interesting to know. I think their tracker is messed up. Fi actually has a different tracking number and the USPS receipt has another different tracking number.

Not much hope from USPS. Google doesn't insure those packages so USPS is not liable...
All we can do is wait and hope.

There are two tracking numbers: one is the trade-in box sent to you, one is the shipping box going to the place in TN. An interesting fact is that the refurbished phones sold by Tracfone are shipped from the same address in TN. I looked up the address one time and it's a phone "recycling" company. They take the trade-in phones, inspect/test/grade them, then resell.
