Received follow up email today from promotions team. Now my acct shows "activated device" but no countdown. Not sure if they expect me to stay 30 or 120 days
Reply to that email and ask them how long you have to stay.

Now just waiting for my trade to get processed and I will be golden - received it yesterday according to USPS but not in their system yet - will probably have to wait two weeks or so - hoping to have credit by the time my next bill comes so I dont have to pay anything

My trade in finally got accepted after being delivered 2 weeks ago... I sent in a excellent condition so I wasn't worried about the trade in value. I was scared they lost it somewhere in their warehouse. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Picked up my SIM card from Best Buy on Monday. Activated my Fi account that day, but the port didn't finally go through until today.

Do you all think it's safe to order the S22 today? Or should I wait a couple more business days?

Not sure, Why did you port if you were doing existing customer and planning on canceling in 30 days or so anyhow?

I think you order s22 if you activated a few days ago. But maybe wait one more day for the port to solidify in the system just to be safe.

Killing two birds with one stone. I'll be porting this number again to Google Voice. It was on US Mobile and for some odd reason Google Voice threw an error code any time I tried porting this number from US Mobile to Google Voice. Hoping I'll be able to go from US Mobile, to Google Fi, to Google Voice. While at the same time snagging a phone for a good deal.

Read all the comments but still not able to find answer.. if I get on this deal can I use the phone with other carrier (Tmobile) during 30 or 120 days wait period, keeping ported line active on Fi for those days? Keep paying $25 per month for Fi service , keep sim which came with the phone in a drawer after activating and making sure countdown is going down and pop in other carrier sim? Any existing user doing this can please share their experience with the countdown counter on FI website.. thank you in advance.

Yes but
dont sell the phone until the 30/120 days are up, dont use another google fi sim in it and I would wait until the countdown starts on your google fi account before putting another carrier sim in it to play it safe

If we do this deal with trade in and activate sim do we need to keep phone for the whole 120 days or can we sell it before then? As long as the line is active and the sim is not put into any other phone then it would be OK to sell phone.

Putting in another SIM does not affect the promo. Personal experience on several Fi promos. Just put the original Fi SIM away after activation and you're good to go.
