Yes... $3 for the same user... $20 for a different user to get the number released.

Can I change the chip after Google fi chip activation and hold Google fi line for 120 days , but the phone working on another carrier ? Or does the 600 discount promotion require that the device be working under the Google Fi operator for 120 days?

No cost if Google Voice belongs to the same Google account that ordered the phone.

Yes. After activation of the Fi SIM, you can remove it and stash it away, but don't use it in another phone. Then use the phone with another carrier. If the other carrier offer eSIM, you can use the S22's eSIM for that while keeping the Fi SIM in place,

I would say the best value is getting a S22, and trading in a cracked S21 (under $180 on ebay). Cracked S21 was $425 trade in value I believe.

Any reason why s22+ is not good value considering 425TIV (need just 128gb)

I think the s22+ is a different price whether you are new or existing customer, s22 is $299 for both.

new cust requires 120 days, existing requries 30 days - many people became an existing customer to stay with fi only 30 days - depends what route you want to go, if you want to do existing make sure to wait 48 hours between activating retail sim and ordering phone

I like the s22+ better , but value cost and if you are planning on staying with Fi for 120+ days

a few of us got more than expected for TIV on cracked phone than estimated

Would you please indicate how to get the price as existing customer to only keep 30 days? it says "How do I qualify for the $500 discount? You must be a new Fi customer. "

Being an existing customer will save 90d but S22+ price gets bumped by 100$.
Existing customer: Meaning buy Fi sim from target/bb. activate the sim by porting a current number (like google voice) and then order new phone s22. Will this still earn port in credits on the device?

Existing customers don't need to port. Meaning when you activate your target bought SIM you can just get a new number.

The details of the offer are different for new customer and existing customer. The Fi site shows different details depending on whether you're shopping while logged into a current Fi account or not.

The attachment below shows what I see when shopping as an existing Fi customer.

Guessing neither have you read through thread. If you buy a sim at BB or Amazon and activate it as an existing customer I recommend waiting 48 hours before purchasing a phone.

You should also get $10 for sim cost back on your Fi bill automatically

Was this not the case before or was that just for the S22 that the $299 pricing was for both new and current customers? Are you a current Fi customer that you were able to see the $600 off is also available for you as a current customer as well?
