Just curios, is anyone still having problems getting their activation/countdown working correctly or all the problems have been resolved?
Just a random data point: I had a trade-in that I shipped out around 12/10. It still shows as "In transit, running late" as of 12/23, but today I got credited the full amount.

Unless you want to, you don't have to wait until FI service has been cancelled to use the phone with another provider. Just take out the Fi SIM and stash it away, or use the eSIM with the other provider.

So i ordered 4 phones using 4 email ids and also referred from first to second and second to third.

Question is can i reduce per month bill by creating a group and inviting other email id's?
Also will it impact referal?

Thanks. Yes, I used referral. So next month Feb 6 onward will be less for me considering referral code promo $20 will cover some of the portion.
Quote from hpham_53 :
The cheapest is the Flexible Plan which is $20/month + about $7 in taxes & fees + any data used (billed in the following month).

If activated your S22 yesterday, then you need to keep it active through Feb 5. Since your current month ends on Feb 1, you'll have to pay for Feb 2 to Mar 2 to keep the S22 active. You can cancel on Feb 6 (after Fi Savings shows you've meet the terms) and you'll get a partial refund after 2-3 billing cycles.

Did you use someone's referral code when creating your account? If yes, that $20 referral credit will be come available for use 30 days after you activated your Fi service.

As long as your counter is going, you should be good - just dont use a different Fi sim

Yes, you can take the Fi SIM out and put a SIM for another provider in. The countdown should continue. Don't use the Fi SIM in another phone.

I don't understand how a google account has anything to do with using the SIM of another provider in the Fi phone.

I ported from Google Voice to Fi with 4 phones and it took one minute. When people ported from other providers, it usually took longer, but 48 hrs at most. If your t-mo line has already stopped working, then T-mo had accepted/approved the port out. It's in Fi's hands now. I don't know if there's any human intervention involved. If there is, being on a Sunday might cause a delay. Contact Fi support if you don't want to wait.

I uninstalled the Fi app after activating the phone, but kept my Google account logged in so I can continue to download app updates from Play Store. If you're going to sell the phone, it doesn't matter because most likely you'll reset the phone before selling.
